Who is God??

For order exists in the lands overseeing the waters, for the Palm trees propagate, in but the tropics of the earth while Poseidon's demons trouble the men of the isles....
Loose not your definition of the Creator of order, be steadfast, lest the bias of imperfection sways your flailing beliefs into a selfish love of tenets than of your neighbour. For how can one claim to love an unseen Almighty when he mislike thy brother. Away with the tags!! Away with the stereotypes!!
For only the Almighty who put the Earth forth, is indeed God.

The Beautiful Art of Giving

Sitting on this white bowl of wonder, the act of giving never felt more pleasurable, toips and tuups create music to those who dare listen. Noses send cringeworthy codes of Morse to their brains, ensuring projections of hmms, and nnmms, in harmonious song to the melodies before..... A toilet seat, the recipient, I, the giver of this wonderful gift called shit.

My Lord

Who may judge one who has lived from but his eyes?
Who may judge he who has seen but from his perspective?
Who may judge he when he liveth not the life, nor partaketh in his experiences?
Rigid experiences like fire to clay, harden bits and pieces of he who stands in the witness box today.
My Lord, may the gavel hammer itself, and if the defendant opposes, let he who is blameless strike the first blow.

Violence, such useless endeavour

If a man swears that he be violent, may the instructions upon the Amalekites of old lay with his victim. For violence causes but temporary injury and deepened hatred searching for grounds to sprout out propagations of a never ending chain of evil.

Rebuilding Babel

Life, a game of perspectives. Understanding, the yardstick with which perspectives are measured.

Man must see from man's perspective that we may attain the proverbial utopia. For the key to the tower Babel lies in our ability to put ourselves in the shoes of our brothers.

ITI

I would lay claim to the high name,
The false claims bequeath validity
Solomon was right after all, all is vanity
Humanity’s mortality, a function of Man’s inanity
Wandering through forced conformities, the life is all but reality.

Oh death..

Death is no punishment
Death is caused by no sin
Death has no victory, nor does it sting
Death is Death of the body not, but the damnation which death may bring
Death is necessary evil albeit an expression of the evil
Fear not Death, rather I pray thee to fear Death.

Obioma

A heavy heart laden with the unfulfilled promises of mother Africa, An even heavier heart, laden with the disenchantment of mother Earth. Ripped, raped, and laid bare, like an Odyessy without a compass in the Mediterranean, She losses her bearings, hovering blindly in circles along paths which the Israelites trod. Over a century ago it has been since the Egyptians let us be, be we haven’t perhaps a couple more centuries.
Souls being sold cold under the auspices of brotherhood, flesh for flesh, a heart for a pound, Obioma in search of an ever-elusive bank of still waters, the Libyan Peninsula, a destination of near fulfillment of prophecies of Pastor Okoye. “A breadwinner you shall be” “Ise” You shall bring

Understanding

Most important feature in any human is understanding.... Understanding that the cab driver who stops in the middle of the road to pick a passenger probably has a target, else his kids don't resume by September. Understanding that the maniac driving through Sani Abacha way full throttle just received a call that his wife is in the emergency ward.
Understanding that if he he gets mad easily, or ends up a criminal, it could be because he was subject to situations that only he has experienced thus we can never really judge him, for we know not what our behaviours would be if we were subject to these situations. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your might, and with all your strength. The second is this 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' There is no greater commandment than these." (Mark 12:30-31) "If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen" (1st John 4:20) "Return evil with kindness (Q13:22,23:96,41:34,28:54,42:40).
"None of you truly believes until he wishes for his neighbor what he wishes for himself" (Forty Hadith-Nawawi)

I say to you my people Love them who despise you, for they are the ones who need the love the most...Okonkwo. Azubuike

The Sound of the Trumpet

The ringing crescendos of the horns, the fluidity of the valves, the feel of cold nickel plated brass on a cold northern morning. My Passion rules me.
Working melodies in my head, complete with stage lights and an orchestra of voices singing to me harmonies which I must put down lest I fail to impress my nickel plated trumpet with a certain kind of deftness in my newly learnt embouchure.

I cannot sit at this desk riddled in paper work while these symphonies are yet to be played. The world must hear these melodies. The world must hear my trumpet sound.

A Sight worth the Sight

Out under that brazen afternoon shine of our nations' capital she came forth, with a rusted Aluminium tray balanced rather expertly on her head, containing 5 large baskets of Irish Potatoes.

From her back emanate shrills of discomfort from the young and restless.

Tribute to Pablo

When I died, the world didn't stop. The sun shone maybe even brighter, the traders bustled and hustled like my silent absence became a catalyst for business.

My N.Y.S.C Experience

The National Youth Service Experience (N.Y.S.C) was a really lovely experience, probably the best experience I'av had......ermm well not exactly the best...lol, especially the idea of waking us up with whistles and trumpets by 3:00am but it's right up there among the best experiences I have had.

How To Be a Good Judge

Always listen to both sides. Always always, Some call the Bible the book of life, and there is valid reason for this.

To be a good judge, you always have to listen to both sides of a story at all times.
If you are at least an occasional church goer, you should have at one time or the other come across the story of Solomon and the two women who claimed a baby, and Solomon had the difficult task of finding out who the true mother of the kid was, and we all know just how he resolved that issue.

As the Anglicans will say, "This Law hangs all the laws and the prophets"...lol

The Law is a simple but rather underrated one.

Mama G the Cab driver

So I wake up early today to get to work as early as I can, as punctuality has not been one of my best attributes in recent times. I am in a hurry, I skip breakfast and begin my walk to work.....

EVERY TRAVELER'S NIGHTMARE

Just before you boarded the bus en route Owerri to Abuja, you decided to have a little mini meal to avoid a rumbling tummy before your next stop. You decide to get palm oil fried fish with bolle washed down by a very cold bottle of La Casera.

To the envy of the passengers around you, you bite and chew the bolle with loud sloppy sounds and gulp down your La Casera while looking at their faces. You are the boss, yes and you fear no one, not even the involuntary organs of your digestive tract until...................POOM!!PAAPAARIIIIRIRIRIPAPA!!!!.

Our Mothers, the unsung heroes

At times, I hear friends talk about their mothers and then I realise that I do have an awesome mum..... A mother who did not spare the rode lest I become a nuisance to the society, one who gave acolades whenever I did what was right.

HOW COMMON EXACTLY IS COMMON SENSE

So, today the  11th day of february 2015, I got up a little earlier than usual, went on with my regular morning routines, and finally made to attend my lectures scheduled for 11:30am.

I get into the University environment and I see a multitude under a tree, pushing and shoving, onlookers catching glimpses of the happening; the techno-socials geared up with megapixels slightly below the pixelation of the human eye, capturing every minute in a detailed manner.
